Trips We Offer
Susquehanna River
We fish the Susquehanna River anywhere from Conowingo Pool up to Sunbury. On the day of your trip, I choose the location I believe will give us the best chance to catch the biggest and greatest number of smallmouth bass. Most trips typically take place in the Harrisburg area, primarily between Goldsboro and Duncannon.
Lake Redman Tutorial
I grew up in Jacobus, PA, and these lakes, Redman and Williams are my home waters. During this tutorial trip, we will run and scan the lake using electronics to view underwater structure in real time. You’ll see stumps, cribs, rock piles, and other key structure that hold fish. This trip is designed to help you learn the bottom of the lake like never before and gain a better understanding of where and how to fish it.
Lake Marburg
Lake Marburg is my current home lake, and I spend many hours fishing it each year while competing in local bass tournaments. This lake offers a variety of species including yellow perch, white perch, and largemouth bass. There are also opportunities to catch larger fish such as striped bass, walleye, and musky.
Blue Marsh Lake
Blue Marsh is one of my favorite lakes in the area and has a very strong population of both largemouth and smallmouth bass. During these trips we will cruise around the lake targeting grass beds and offshore structure where big bass like to hold.
Long Arm Reservoir
Long Arm Reservoir is located in Hanover, about 10–15 minutes from my residence. This lake is known for producing some really big largemouth bass, and the bluegill fishing here can be incredible. When you find the offshore trees, the crappie fishing can also be very productive.
Lake Redman
Lake Redman offers excellent fishing opportunities, especially for largemouth bass. The lake is also home to species such as white perch, striped bass, and even some snakeheads, providing anglers with a variety of fish to target.
Pinchot Lake
Pinchot Lake has a healthy amount of vegetation, which creates great habitat for fish. The lake holds some giant bass as well as big crappie. Pinchot is also known as one of the better lakes in the area for crappie fishing
Muddy Run Reservoir
Muddy Run is known for having some big largemouth bass roaming the lake. The crappie fishing here can also be very good, and the lake is stocked with trout each year as well. Every once in a while smallmouth bass are also caught here, adding even more variety to the fishery.
Maryland
The proper permits are still required for Maryland waters, but we plan to offer trips launching out of Havre de Grace and Joppatowne in the future. During the fall and winter months, the yellow perch bite can be excellent. Throughout the year, catching tidal water bass is always a great experience, and snakeheads are also a popular species to target and they taste amazing.
Request a Lake
Lakes such as Long Pine Reservoir, Octoraro Lake, Marsh Creek Reservoir, and Lake Nockamixon are a little outside of my normal area. However, I am more than happy to travel to these locations upon request. During these trips we will scan the lake and see what it has to offer!
